Geraniol Oil

Geraniol oil is a natural insect and mosquito repellent with antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is the primary component of citronella oil, and has a light rose scent.

Cedarwood Oil 

Cedarwood Oil is an essential oil derived from conifer trees, including junipers and cypresses. It is used in fragrances as well as natural insecticides, and repels ants, fleas, ticks, mosquitos, bees and wasps. Cedarwood oil also reduces inflammation and itching, and has antiseptic and antifungal properties.

Lemongrass Oil

Extracted from the fragrant lemongrass plant, lemongrass essential oil contains active ingredients like geranial, neral, geraniol and citronellol, making it an effective housefly and fruit fly deterrent. It also has insecticidal, antifungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, and may prevent the growth of some bacteria and yeast.

Basil Oil

Derived from the basil herb, basil essential oil has a warm, sweet and fresh scent, and acts as an effective insect repellent for flies and mosquitoes. It can also relieve itching from insect bites or stings. Basil oil is antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, and is an antioxidant.

Rosemary Oil

Made from naturally aromatic rosemary, rosemary oil repels mosquitos, ticks and other insects. Its pleasant herbal scent is used in aromatherapy and for stress relief. Rosemary oil may also provide immune support

Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil’s powerful minty fragrance is a natural fly repellent. It contains two monoterpenoids, menthol and menthone, which provide strong, long-lasting protection from flies and mosquitos. It is also an antioxidant, with anti-allergenic potential.

Neem Oil 

Neem oil is a natural pesticide derived from neem tree seeds. Widely used in natural skincare products like soap, hair products, hand creams and pet shampoos, it contains antioxidants that protect the skin from oxidative stress and free radical damage.

Soybean Oil

Rich in vitamin E, soybean oil benefits skin and hair health, and is often used in skincare serums and hair treatments. It helps skin retain moisture, and protects against inflammation caused by ultraviolet radiation. Soybean oil can also help smooth hair cuticles, improving shine. 

Water

Water is added to our ready-to-use products. Our concentrated formulas are mixed with water before use.

Polysorbate 20

When essential oils are added to water-based formulas, emulsifiers are needed to prevent separation and improve product texture and feel. Polysorbate 20 is used as an emulsifier in Essential Fly Repellent.
